‘What do I want to be when I grow up’?
I was a teenager the first time that ‘Photographer’ was the answer to that question. Between that moment and my current career, I spent time in photography school, lived in a van, worked bad jobs, and now find myself in Squamish BC.
I want to keep asking that question; there is always time to choose new paths, grow, form new ideas, and cast off old ones.
I still find my answer is ‘I want to be a photographer’. But, the specific dreams continue to change, be it co-directing motion projects, producing film, I’m endlessly chasing the elusive rabbits; inspiration and creativity.
I have become increasingly engaged with the conversation around climate after beginning to understand the issue, and my relationship to it. My first steps included reducing my footprint, joining POW, and offsetting the carbon used by me and my businesses. Thanks to all my clients for their work, which enables these efforts.
A new project, Yonder, is an ongoing series of conversations during adventures. I’m endlessly interested in learning, and always have the best conversations while moving through nature. Yonder is an attempt to capture that connecting experience.

My mobility is my job security. I often joke that I chase professional athletes around mountains with a bay window’s worth of glass in my backpack. Keeping me and that glass safe is paramount.
